Megan Racing Short Shifter is made with high strength billet steel and nickel plated for ultra low friction and corrosion resistance. The throw is reduced up to 40%, and shift knob height is reduced by 1 to 3 inches depending on the model. These Shifters provide a more precise shift and allows for quicker shifting without drastically changing the overall driving experience. There’s a guy on YouTube who breaks down installing these for the b5 s4 “Shanghai shaft”. Purchased this shifter after watching and it was a breeze installing. Took all the slop out of my shifter and adjustment was easier than expected. Would def recommend to all the buddies
Works on the non push down reverse models, you will just have most parts left over. Good throw, easy install, just use some washers or something on the part where the rod connects to the blue bottom piece so it doesnt have as much side to side slop.
Pretty easy installation and definitely noticed a shorter throw. Wish it was a little shorter but I can’t complain
